Over the last week, the strong blustery winds continued but Linlithgow Loch fished well.

On Friday Mr Peden and partner had 10 fish for 30lbs and, on the same day, Mr Lamb had a nice limit bag of six fish for 17lbs.

On Saturday, Hedgehogs AC from Dechmont did well. With four boats they had 23 fish for 68lbs and Last Cast AC from West Calder with three boats had a very good session with 26 fish for 72 lbs.

On Sunday the weather at last improved.

Aberdour AC had a good day with 42 fish for 114lbs using mostly buzzers and cormorants on Midge tip lines.

Bank anglers all had limit bags, showing that fish are still hanging around the margins.

Some high quality over-wintered fish are being caught, mostly on brown buzzers.

Best fish on Sunday was a 5lb rainbow caught by a member of the High Constable of Edinburgh AC.
