INSPIRATIONAL play from Scottish stars Andy Murray and Commonwealth Gold winner Colin Fleming should encourage local juniors to think big on the tennis court.

That’s the attitude of Adam Brown, Central Scotland District tennis coach who wants big hitters from Linlithgow to take part in the Central Scotland and Tayside Tournament Circuit 2011.

This is a series of over 120 one-day tennis events held at over 25 venues in Central Scotland and Tayside, with something for all ages including sponge ball tennis for total beginners, through to under eight, nine and ten mini tennis events, under 12, 14, and 16 contests, and mens and ladies singles and doubles events.

Last year’s tournament circuit involved over 450 players, and over 2500 matches were completed. Adam said: “Juniors have got a chance to play local tennis competitions on their doorstep to try and become the next big thing in tennis!”
