Police officers were on the ball last weekend after some minor incidents of nuisance behaviour at the Linlithgow v Bo’ness match which were promptly nipped in the bud.
At one point a flare was set off in the away end of the stadium.
Although having the potential to cause crowd disorder the Linlithgow supporters were commended for their restraint in not responding to this incident.
The flare, which appeared to roll down the grass embankment came from an area containing a group of around 50 or so teenage supporters congregated on the hill.
An officer checked on the item but it had gone out by the time he got to it.
Five youths were removed from the game.
