THE Clarion Youth
Cyclocross takes place this Sunday in what will be the club’s first ever open race.

Almost 50 riders have signed up so far with entrants from West Lothian, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dunfermline and Dundee turning up to burn some rubber at Linlithgow Leisure Centre in the race taking off at 2pm. The event will also incorporate the 2012 Mid-Scotland Championships, so there will be two titles for cyclists to compete for.

Anyone under the age of 15 can take part and cyclists can enter online (£3) or on the day (£5), but should register by 1pm to avoid disappointment. Online registration can be accessed via www.britishcycling.org.uk/events and adding ‘clarion’ to the keyword search.

Members of the public are welcome to come along and cheer on the kids, and there will be a portable cafe selling refreshments and
homebaking.
