The Forth Bridges Festival runs in both North and South Queensferry from September 4 to 13.
The festival is a celebration of both Forth Bridges and also the 50th anniversary of the Forth Road Bridge.
One of the signature events is the ‘Scotland Welcomes the World to Lunch’ at the Hawes Pier on Saturday, September 6.
And thanks to the organisers, we have a pair of VIP tickets for the sit-down lunch, with a specially prepared menu by top Scots celebrity chef Nick Nairn.
The winner will also receive a limited edition Homecoming Scotland 2014 Coke bottle; VIP seats with special guests including Grant Stott and ‘Dingo Dave’ from Forth One; and a Forth Bridges Festival Place Mat designed by local school children.
For a chance to win this great prize, simply answer this question:
* Which celebrity chef prepared the lunch?
Send your entry on the form provided to Lunch Competition, Journal and Gazette, Unit 4a Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8WX, by midday, on Tuesday, August 19, or drop it into our postboxes at Taste, Linlithgow or Bo’ness Library.
* The lunch event is just one of many beng staged over the 10 days of the festival.
Other events include a food and drinks market, (September 6/7) Flotilla on the Forth (September 7) and a torchlight procession and fireworks on September 13.
