Janet Seidel – Australia’s first lady of jazz – makes a welcome return to Linlithgow Jazz Club with her trio next week.
And thanks to the jazz club, we have two pairs of tickets to give away for the concert on Saturday, September 6, at the Queen Margaret Hall at 7.30pm.
Highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, Janet’s crystal clear vocals and sparkling piano are perfectly balanced by Chuck Morgan on guitar and David Seidel on double bass.
A seasoned performer, Janet has a warm rapport with her audience and her relaxed, unshowy style always lets the beauty of the melody and lyrics shine.
The trio has toured the world with a variety of different performances including homages to Peggy Lee, Blossom Dearie and Doris Day.
For your chance to win a pair of tickets, send your name and address on a postcard to Journal and Gazette, Unit 4a Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8WX, or drop it into Taste or Bo’ness Library. Tickets £8 on the door (7pm).
