A new project which aims to involve children in Bo’ness in theatre studies offically launched last week.

The Stage Door Project at St. Andrew’s Church, Bo’ness, aims to bring the community together – all with the aid of theatre.

The project is led by Liam McIntosh, Jenni Whigham and Rebecca Gardiner, who are all students at Bo’ness Academy.

It is run in conjunction with the Avenue Youth Division, renowned for its work in the town and with St. Andrews Church.

Liam, (16), who created this project said: “It’s weird how fast the project has been moving.

“But it is looking very promising for our future and I am amazed at the level of support so far.”

The Stage Door Project will run trips to theatres, organise and run workshops and will organise a production every year.

Auditions for the Christmas Concert Tour will be held in September.

For more information on the project, or to book tickets, please get in touch with The Stage Door Project by phone: 01506 825803 or Email: stagedoorproject@outlook.com or on Facebook.
