Local band Bwani Junction scaled new heights recently when they played at the top of the Forth Road Bridge. The band have already performed at the top of the Forth Bridge as a promo for their signature tune ‘‘Two Bridges.’’

But their latest exploit, over 550 feet above the Forth, was to coincide with the news that the band are to be part of the Forth Bridges Festival next year when they stage Bwani Bridgestock, a live music festival. Lead singer Rory Fairweather said: “Having played on the rail bridge last year, we had to do the road bridge too when the chance came along. If anything, this was even more exhilarating: the whole thing vibrates with the traffic, you feel much closer to the edge - and it’s even higher up!”
