The Boss is Back

It's been three very long years since Bruce Springsteen paid a visit to Scotland.

The 2013 Wrecking Ball Tour saw The Boss play to a sell out crowd at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.

He’s currently on the road in the US with the E Street Band playing the full River album from top to bottom. The news that every fan wants to hear is that Bruce is heading to Europe including Scotland later this year.

He said: “The tour was a surprise to us, you know? We were kind of heading on a slightly different path, but then the box set came out, and we started to fool around with the idea of playing maybe a show, then maybe two shows, and that turned into the short leg that we have going on here at the moment in the States.”

The ‘81 European leg was such an important part of the River era back in the 80s so we have everything crossed for a visit from the Boss.

“That was the leg that established us in Europe. The River tour there was a major, major event for us. We gotta see about the details...but look out for us soon!” Bruce said mischievously.
