Wetherspoons confirms reopening date for Falkirk pub

The reopening date for a Wetherspoons pub in Falkirk has been confirmed.

The Carron Works was ordered to close its doors by the Scottish Government when coronavirus lockdown measures were announced at the turn of the year.

Wetherspoons has now confirmed the Bank Street venue will reopen from Monday, April 26.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks inside will be served indoors, while alcohol, without the requirement for a meal, will be served in its beer garden.

The facility will open from 9am to 9pm, Sunday to Thursday (internal areas closing by 8pm) and 9am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday (internal areas closing by 8pm).

Offering a slightly reduced menu, meals will be available from 9am to 7pm seven days a week.

Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoon app, however, staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table from those who don’t have the app.

The pub will not operate a booking system.
