Hide AdDavid's Kitchen is one of the three stores in Scotland, with the other two in Fife.
A pilot operation in Glenrothes showed that only four per cent of sales were alcohol, with the rest takeaway food and groceries.
Mr Emslie added that as a responsible retailer, the store would not sell any alcoholic products that are also high in caffeine and sugar.
Deliveries will be made by a member of staff, rather than a third party, and they will have the mandatory training.
No objections were made to the application.
