Falkirk businesses urged to tap into COVID support funding
Business Gateway Falkirk and Falkirk Council have teamed up to help businesses mitigate the ongoing lockdown restrictions, and say companies could be eligible for financial support.
They are offering grant funding through the Strategic Framework Business Fund - as well as advice and support.

Hide AdIf required to close by law, business may be eligible for up to £3000 of help, while there is financial support for companies which have to modify operations as a result of national guidelines.
Polmont based leisure centre, Galaxy Sport Little Kerse, is one business which has been given help.
Stephen Barr, owner, said "The team at Business Gateway have been a phenomenal support to me, my businesses and indirectly to my family.

Hide Ad“I thought we were through the worst of it towards the end of August, and had started to rebuild our businesses only for Level 3 lockdown to hit us.”Mr Barr said the business team moved quickly to give information of grants available to him, adding: “It was a huge comfort for me knowing I could pick up the phone and speak to someone who could not only help me but also had empathy with the situation I was in.”
Carron Smith, Business Gateway Falkirk, said, “We know that this is a challenging and overwhelming period for many businesses in the run-up to Christmas."She added: “I would urge anyone who needs support and thinks they might be eligible for a grant to contact their local authority where they can provide clear, impartial advice during this crisis”.
