The Big Win Win contest aims to celebrate – and thank – shopkeepers up and down the country for being the backbone of our communities.

Open from now until May 14, people just have to purchase a classic Cadbury chocolate bar – including Twirls, Wispas and Dairy Milk bars – for a chance to win a £500 or £1000 cash prize for themselves and their local shop.

A Cadbury spokesperson said: “Whether we just want to treat ourselves to a bar of chocolate, to the times we need saving in a missing ingredient crisis, our corner shops remained open when most of the world shut and they’ve always got our back.
