Businesses in Linlithgow were celebrating victory following their success at Scotland’s Business Awards.
In a time where high streets are becoming more and more deserted, Linlithgow seems to be going against the trend and not only surviving, but thriving.
The High Street that stretches from one end of the Royal Burgh to the other stands as a testiment to local people supporting local businesses as most shops are filled and have been for years.
Back in March Linlithgow residents began nominating businesses in Scotland’s Business Awards and a few months later after a public vote, mystery shopper and more, the winners were announced.
At the awards celebration in Edinburgh, Linlithgow had an incredible six businesses called to the stage across various categories.
The town can now boast that it is home to the best Fish and Chip Shop in Edinburgh and Lothian as well as the best eatery, multi-site beauty salon, bistro and gift shop.
The best business in the town was also named.
All winners from the regional competition will be heading to Edinburgh in August to see who will be crowned the national winner against other finalists from Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Fife.
