Since opening in May 2019, Specsavers in the town has sponsored the kit of Linlithgow Rose Football Club’s Under 13s girls team and been awarded the Platinum Employer Award.

The store marked the anniversary on May 20 with a cake, and members of the Specsavers sponsored Linlithgow Rose girls football team joined staff two days later.

Store ophthalmic director, Diana Kelly, said: “The past two years have been brilliant for us, despite the challenges of the last year we have loved engaging with the community, helping new and existing customers.

"We would like to encourage people to continue to book their eye examinations in advance so we can continue to deliver our fantastic services to the local community in the safest way possible.”

She added: ”I’d like to thank my colleagues and our visitors for their support over the last couple of years of trading – hopefully next year we can have a bigger celebration with our customers and partners.

“We are looking forward to building on our fantastic achievements and continuing to support the Linlithgow community in the months and years to come.”
