An unknown applicant – represented by agent jmarchitects, which represents both private and public sector clients with studios in Edinburgh and Glasgow – lodged an application with Falkirk Council on Friday, July 8 to construct enclosed ground flares and associated infrastructure at BP Kinneil, in Bo’ness Road, Grangemouth.

On the planning documents the applicant’s name is listed as “not available”.

Enclosed ground flares take exhaust gases which are potentially toxic or flammable and convert them into less harmful vapours without using a stack.
