There were 33 new cases of coronavirus in Forth Valley overnight, as the number of people being treated in hospital rises, figures show.

A total of 1862 cases have been detected in Forth Valley since the start of the outbreak, up from 1829 yesterday, according to Scottish Government data.

The number of people in hospital in the area who have tested positive is 19, up from 9 last week.

A total of 855,458 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 39,959 were positive.
