Fall in number of Covid-19 patients in Forth Valley hospitals

Figures released this afternoon by the Scottish Government reveal there are only 30 inpatients, a fall of 40 in the last 24 hours.
Less than five of these are being treated in Forth Valley Royal Hospital’s intensive care unit – if there are fewer than five the exact number is not released by the authorities.

Hide AdThe number of people in the region who have now tested positive is now 802, an increase of eight overnight and 113 in the past week.
In Forth Valley, 124 people have died from Covid-19. Of these 70 were in the Falkirk Council area – 36 in hospital, 25 in a care home and nine in their own home.
Today’s figures for Scotland show a total of 63,311 people have been tested. Of these, 50,874 were confirmed negative and 12,437 were positive (24.5 per cent).
