Baby of the Week: Wallace Brown Mitchell

Wallace Brown Mitchell was born at 4.03pm on Febuary 13, 2018, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, weighing 6lb exactly.

THE PARENTS: Mum Lorna Mitchell (34) works at Caledonian Marts Limited. Dad Graham Mitchell (31) is a Joiner with South Lanarkshire Council. The family stay just outside Shieldhill.

THE PREGNANCY: Lorna said that her pregnancy was okay. Although, she was sick to begin with, afterwards it went smoothly with no major problems.

THE BIRTH: After being monitored for growth, Wallace was born two weeks early. Lorna said the birth went quickly.

THE BABY: Wallace is a happy and content baby who loves to play with his big brothers, Struan (4) and Ruaridh (2).

THE NAME: Wallace was a name that both mum and dad liked. Their other two sons both have Scottish names so they wanted to keep the tradition. Also, Lorna and Graham got engaged at Wallace Monument so it was 
fitting.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Doting grandparents are Jim and Beth Brown and Robert and Liz Mitchell.
