Falkirk's Helix and Linlithgow Loch among 10 best dog walk routes

Linlithgow Loch and Falkirk's Helix Park have been named as two of the 10 best places to walk your dog in Scotland.

The 10 walks include beaches, lochs, parks and signed path walks through woodlands in areas from the central belt to Dumfries and Galloway in the south and Aberdeenshire in the north.

The list was put together by VisitScotland and partners Vets4Pets as research shows that almost a third of holidaymakers base their trip on how suitable the destination is for their pet.
