LINLITHGOW Oxfam Group is hosting its annual folk night on Saturday,
October 27.

The major fundraiser at Linlithgow Academy Theatre will feature several of the area’s favourite performers including Sangsters’ unique close-harmony music, Linties, and Cockleroy.

Neil Macdonald and Bob Proudfoot of Cockleroy are two of West Lothian’s most versatile performers, with a huge repertoire of tunes and songs, many penned by the duo. Support will also be provided by Sangschule, West Lothian’s own traditional song group.

There will be a licensed bar, Oxfam and Fairtrade stalls on the night. The event starts at 7.30pm, doors open from 7pm. Tickets are £10 (conc. £8) available from the ‘Celebrate Linlithgow’ box office at ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ Bookshop, 50 High Street, Linlithgow, or email linlithgowoxfam
