Alex Salmond leads tributes to John Constable

First Minister Alex Salmond has led tributes to Councillor John Constable who died on Saturday, March 26.

Councillor Constable - who’d battled a long illness - passed away aged 64, with his friends at his side.

The former Provost, and Bo’ness and Blackness councillor, had spent nearly 40 years in public service.

St Andrew’s Church was packed with mourners yesterday (Thursday) paying their respects.
