Bo’ness Academy cashed in on the festive spirit last Friday, with £550 raised at the school’s annual Christmas Fayre.
The afternoon saw Academy pupils selling homemade Christmas decorations, cards and other items.
The S5 Enterprise Group had a particularly successful day with their gift sets, retro sweets and bath items.
Parents joined in the festivities in the evening, when local traders were invited to the school to sell their products.
Proceeds from the fayre will go towards the school fundraising committee, which allows the Academy to pay for extras it might not otherwise afford, such as excursions.
Ruth Provan, senior technician at the school who organised the event, said: “I’ve organised the fayre for a number of years and I can say that this one was really successful.
“It was nice to see so many different stalls and such a great turnout.”
Our freelance photographer was on hand to capture the action for the Journal and Gazette and his pictures are featured in our slideshow, created for your viewing pleasure by acting editor Julie Currie.
