Bo’ness Fair arch hit by thieves

Each year the Bo’ness Fair brings joy and happiness to the people of the town. But, this year, one family have had their day soured by petty thieves who stole from the Arch of one of the Flower Girls.

Danielle McKinlay (8), of Grange Primary, was delighted to be named one of her school’s representatives for this year’s Fair Day and the family invested a lot of time and effort into creating a wonderful “Secret Garden” display outside of their Hadrian Way home. After enjoying the festivities of Fair Day, last Friday, the family were left shocked to discover that someone had taken an iron lantern, which had been part of the garden display.
