Bo’ness Rugby club receive donation from Salvation Army

Bo’ness Rugby Football Club was this year’s recipient of the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas carol concert collection.

The event, which was held at Bo’ness Town Hall last week, was a huge success and raised £376.89 for Bo’ness RFC from the collection which was taken at the end of the evening.

Lieutenant Tim Lennox said: “I was absolutely delighted with the number of local people who turned up to support us again this year. There was a lovely festive spirit on the night.”

Music on the evening was provided by St Mary’s Primary School choir, Queensferry Community Brass Band and local singer Mary Gilfillan.

Bo’ness Fair Queen Malia Bonnar was also present at the event.

MC for the night was the Reverend Tom Cuthell.
