Auditions are being held next weekend for a talent show taking place in Bo’ness Town Hall next month.

Organisers are hoping that the area’s top singers, dancers,
comedians and performers will head along to make their bid for one of the slots on March 22.

The even is being run by Avenue, the youth programme at St Andrew’s Church in Bo’ness.

In previous years, the competition has only been open to members of the youth group but, this year, the entry has been opened up and anyone aged eight and up is welcome to audition

Owen Griffiths is heading up the youth team for the
talent show. He said: “We’re really hoping to get a mixture of acts along on the day, and we will have a panel of judges deciding on which acts should go through.”

The open auditions will take place at the church in Grahamsdyke Avenue on Thursday, February 13, from 6.30 - 8 pm and Sunday, February 16, from 1.30 -3 pm.

The aim of the talent show is to raise funds for Valley FM, the community radio station which is run by the youth project in the run up to the Bo’ness Fair. Part of the funds will also go to Encephalitis UK.
