Toddlers get ready for their sponsored walk.

The Mothers and Toddlers Club from the Salvation Army in Bo’ness took part in a sponsored toddle earlier this week.

The mums and infants left their Corbiehall base for a short walk along the town’s foreshore and back.

The charity walk is a fuundraiser for the Salvation Army’s “Big Collection” which raises cash to support the homeless, care homes, hostel and soup kitchens across the UK operated by the organisation.

Val Spowart, spokeswoman for Bo’ness Salvation Army Corps told the ‘‘Journal and Gazette’’: ‘‘The local branch has to raise around £3500 for the Big Collection and the charity walk, the first of two to be held, will help us to boost the funds.’’
