A local farmhouse B&B which has been running for more than 30 years was shortlisted by the prestigious AA Guides in the Friendliest B&B category.
Bunty Kirk, who owns and runs the bed and breakfast establishment in Linlithgow, was presented with her finalists certificate at a ceremony held in the Landmark Hotel, London.
Bunty had been up against an original entrants list of 2300 B&Bs.
She said: “I feel as if I am a jewel in a crown. It is a great honour to have been chosen as a finalist of the AA’s Friendliest B&B 2015.”
Simon Numphud, head of hotel services, said: “It is a great pleasure to recognise all our finalists here in London. The range of establishments clearly show we are market leaders.”
