Commuters invite to rail proposals

Train commuters in the Queensferry area are being invited to learn more about proposals to improve central Scotland rail infrastructure over the next five years.

The Scottish Government and Network Rail are planning £1 billion of improvements and they want to hear your views.

Members of the public will get the opportunity to see plans for a new rail/tram interchange at Gogar to allow access to Edinburgh Airport and proposed improvements for Haymarket Station.

There will be two community drop-in sessions at Queensferry High School on Wednesday, December 14 from 4.30pm to 8.30pm and at Kirkliston Community Centre on Tuesday, December 6, from 4pm to 8pm.
