A man convicted of sex offences, including one against a child under the age of 13, has escaped a jail term.
David Hoggan (46) was sentenced at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.
The offences took place in the Dunipace area.
Hoggan, 126 Pennelton Place, Bo’ness, was placed on a community payback order with a three year supervision requirement. He was also ordered to complete 300 hours of unpaid community work.
The sheriff also made a requirement that he takes part in the ‘Moving Forward, Making Changes’ group work programme for sex offenders.
Hoggan was also placed on the sex offenders register for a period of 15 years.
The offender was also made subject to a 15 year Sexual Offences Prevention Order which lays down specific guidelines about his access to children.
