Alasan Jobe (53), Beauly Court, Hallglen, threw 128 grams of the class B drug out of a window after officers arrived at the property on October 11, 2018.

However, the drugs were then found outside his home.

Jobe appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis to another or others, as well as being in possession of the drug at Falkirk Police Station on October 12, 2018.

Defence solicitor Dick Sandeman said: “Police attended and smelled it. He threw it out.

“Police retrieved it outside. There were two people in the house: him and another.

“The plea was tendered as a non-commercial operation. Somebody else in the house was using the supply he had.”

Mr Sandeman stated reports estimated the haul was worth £300.
