A Porsche, two Audis and items of jewellery have been stolen in a “high value house break-in” in Linlithgow.

Police believe the incident happened between 4:30pm on Thursday and 3am on Friday on February 24 at an address in Grange Knowe.

The house was broken into and various items of jewellery were stolen from the inside.

In addition, a blue Porsche Carrera with registration M90 LAC was taken and later found abandoned on Kinnear Road, Edinburgh.

A black Audi S3 Quattro with registration SO56 YYJ and a red Audi TT Sport Convertable with registration JM11 MOR were also stolen from outside the property.

The cars and jewellery have yet to be recovered and police are appealing for witnesses who can assist them with their inquiries.

Detective Constable Craig Ireland said: “We are actively seeking witnesses from the local area who may have seen the motor vehicles or noticed any persons acting suspiciously in the area in and around the time of the incident and ask that they make contact with police immediately.

“Similarly, anyone with any further information that can help us trace those responsible is aalso asked to get in touch.”
