The court heard Wilkie entered the town’s Scotmid store a couple of days later and pinched £135 worth of goods. Once again, his actions were captured on CCTV.
Then a couple of weeks later Wilkie was caught red handed on video yet again when he pinched £1800 worth of Makita tools from a locksmith’s parked van in town’s Braehead area.
"Mr Wilkie entered the rear door of the vehicle,” said Mr Maher. “He removed a green box and ran off. He soon returned and removed a further box, before making off again.”
Sheriff Christopher Shead sentenced Wilkie, Flat 5 to 2, Matthew Steele Court, Bo’ness, to nine months in prison.
