No luck Bo'ness thief caught stealing on camera three times
Luckless Liam Wilkie (28) was a video star three times in the space of a couple of weeks as his thieving actions were all captured on CCTV.
He was on video again at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, appearing from custody remotely having admitted the thefts he committed in Bo’ness this year, at Scotmid, Linlithgow Road on January 7 and Braehead on January 19, as well as an intent to steal in Seaview Place on January 5.
The court heard Wilkie entered the town’s Scotmid store and pinched £135 worth of goods. Then a couple of weeks later Wilkie was caught red handed on video again when he pinched £1800 worth of Makita tools from a locksmith’s parked van in Braehead.
Sheriff Christopher Shead sentenced Wilkie, Matthew Steele Court, Bo’ness, to nine months in prison.
