Police Scotland take control over Cannabis cultivation

Police Scotland are continuing a measured and targeted approach against local drug offenders.

Following a recent raid on premises in Lothian Crescent, Bo’ness where officers recovered a substantial haul of Cannabis plants with a street value of £14,000, officers have continued with raids, finding a further two homes who had been cultivating Cannabis.

A further seizure in Bo’ness was believed to be for personal use. A 21yr old man has been charged with production of a controlled drug and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal

Other officers from West Lothian have recovered £4,600 worth of drugs following a search of a house in the Westfield area.

A 39-year-old man is due to appear in Livingston Sheriff Court today (Thursday May 1) after officers raided a property yesterday and discovered yet another Cannabis cultivation.
