There was a fantastic turnout at the recent Papermaking Stories project launch at the Low Port Centre.

The Heritage Lottery Funded project will run from August to December to highlight the history of papermaking in the Linlithgow area.

Organiser Helena Gillis said: “We had a great turnout with 25 people who used to be involved in the industry, all keen to be involved in the project in different ways, which is a fantastic start for us. Several people brought photographs and newspaper articles, and everyone brought along their stories, which has added hugely to the project.”
