In South Queensferry the two Cub packs chose to thank their community for supporting Scouting.

A project to plant 100 trees across the town has just been completed.

Zoe Harrower, a Cub leader said: “Cub Scouts wanted to make a difference in 2016 and do something to mark 100 years which future generations could see and to benefit the community too.

“The idea to plant trees was fulfilled following an application to the Woodland Trust, which donated native Scottish species.”
