There were 700 entrants for the individual duck race while a further 76 ducks, bought by local business, took part in the commercial race.

The commercial race was won Templeton Fife Safety with duck number 61. The people’s race, saw Ashley Hall come in first.

The prize was a car service thanks to Hunter’s Garage; second was Fraser McKay, (691), who wins a meal voucher for the Park Bistro; third was N Cairns (612), who wins a voucher for Flowers by Carolyn; fourth was C Taylor (210), who wins a bucket of booze from Platform 3; fifth was M Alexander (150) who receives a voucher from Linlithgow DIY; and sixth was Sharon Little (395) who wins an “Elvis Duck”
