St Joseph’s Primary School in Linlithgow recently had a career talk from solicitor Gail Millar.
Mrs Millar is a parent of a pupil in Primary 2 and works with Thomson’s Solicitors in Edinburgh.
She explained what her job entailed.
One of the highlights was that she brought in her court gown which all the children got to try on.
They were also amused by the size of the law book she brought along and attempted to lift it up.
Mrs Millar brought a cheque with her from her firm which is to go towards the cost of playground equipment for the school.
Teacher Susan McLean said: “As part of the transition project for primary 6 and 7 pupils it was a good idea for them to know more about about careers and to find out what they would need to do to do that job in the future.”
