GROUPS can now apply for the latest round of funding available from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund.
The recent draft Scottish budget for 2011-12 has increased the Climate Challenge Fund to £10.3 million this year, and applications went live on January 5.
Scottish communities now have an early opportunity to bid for funds designed to make a difference by reducing carbon emission.
Environment secretary Richard Lochhead, left, said: “CCF has captured the imagination of our communities and I have been continually impressed and encouraged by the innovative ideas put forward. I am proud of the international leadership Scotland is taking in this arena.’’
Applications can be found on Keep Scotland Beautiful’s official Climate Challenge Fund website.
