Linlithgow MP highlights Earth Hour this weekend
Linlithgow and East Falkirk MP Martyn Day is encouraging his constituents to take part in Earth Hour on Saturday (March 27, the world’s largest annual event to protect the planet.
In the UK, every year millions of people take part in Earth Hour, joining hundreds of millions more around the globe.Earth Hour has helped find solutions for the environmental challenges we face globally. The world’s biggest landmarks also switch off their lights as a visual display of their commitment to our planet.Mr Day (SNP) said: “The impact of individual actions might seem small, but collectively they can make a huge difference in the world.“Earth Hour gives a voice to people everywhere who want to raise awareness of this issue.
