Premier accolade for pioneering products

A hi-tech Linlithgow firm has won recognition at the very highest level.

Calnex Solutions has been awarded the UK’s highest accolade for business success, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

Calnext is based on the Oracle campus on Blackness Road and the award recognises its international reputation for innovative products and global sales.

Calnex has shipped test and measurement products to over 320 customers in 47 countries around the world.

These include the recognised technology-leading countries like USA, Germany, Sweden, Finland, India, China, Korea and Japan plus emerging countries like New Zealand, Vietnam, Uruguay, Azerbaijan and South Africa.

The company’s products prove the performance of 
infra-structure associated with mobile telecommunications networks.

Tommy Cook, chief executive and founder of Calnex, said: “We have built a solid reputation for doing difficult things well, delivering pioneering products aligned to our customer’s ever-changing needs.

‘‘This has been pivotal in enabling us to establish a global reputation and it is an honour to receive this award.”

Founded in 2006, Calnex employs 66 staff worldwide, 55 at their site in Linlithgow.
