Escaped prisoner back behind bars
A prisoner who escaped while on a hospital visit earlier this month has been caught.
Police Scotland has confirmed that Anthony Ferrie, who has links to the Grangemouth area, has been arrested after absconding from St John’s Hospital in Livingston on Thursday, August 4.
He is alleged to have assaulted two members of security staff when he made his escape from a prison van.
Police have thanked the public for their assistance during the investigation.
