Major resurfacing works are to be carried out on the Kincardine Bridge lasting up to six weeks.
The works will start on February 27 with three weeks of southbound repairs and then three weeks northbound.
The A985 will remain open during the works but there will be single lane traffic flow over the bridge controlled by temporary traffic lights located on the bridge.
There will also be full closures of the bridge during single nightshifts.
The aim is to reduce disruption for road users, however, there is expected to be delays of up to 15 minutes at peak times.
Pedestrian footpaths/cycle paths will remain open throughout the works.
