The Deacons’ Court ladies held their annual fashion show last week, and once again this was judged to be a huge success.
The evening began with very young models from Little Beau Peep wearing some gorgeous party or wedding guest outfits.
Next up on the catwalk were the pupils from Linlithgow Academy showing their design talents using recycled materials.
Boutique 42 then modelled some of their new range of young fashion. Closing the first half, there was a large selection of hats from Sally’s Hat Hire in Bo’ness.
Just before the interval the audience drew breath as they were entertained by a fine selection of male models showcasing the handbags for the evening’s competition, which was being held to raise funds for the art department at Linlithgow Academy.
In the second half, there was a large display of clothes, jewellery and handbags from Fair Tradewinds. Finally, Envy Me from Grangemouth wowed everyone with some eye-catching junior and senior prom dresses, followed by outfits for wedding guests, party dresses and bridesmaids. All money raised, which was still being calculated as we went to press (apart from a small donation to the Academy), goes to help funding the Marches.
