Journal and Gazette readers looking for insight into the Forth Replacement Crossing are being invited to attend a series of public events later this month.

With the bridge’s three main towers now standing tall above the Forth and the bridge’s road decks starting to appear, these public events will offer information on what is currently happening on the Forth and on dry land.

Project briefings on the crossing will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27 and 28 between 3pm and 4.30pm and 7pm and 8.30pm at the FRC Contact and Education Centre next to the Forth Road Bridge administration building.

And a general information day will also be staged on Saturday, January 31 from 10 am to 4pm at the same venue.

The briefings will consist of a presentation from Transport Scotland and Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors’ (FCBC) senior staff on the key milestones achieved in the past year as well as a general overview of progress on the construction of the Queensferry Crossing, connecting roads and associated works.

The information day will focus on key activities for the year ahead, as progress on the project moves forward.

Members of the project team will also be on hand to answer any questions the
public may have.
