A VITAL update from ING which could seal the fate of the £170m Bo’ness harbour and foreshore regeneration project is expected by Falkirk Council in a matter of weeks.
It anticipates a statement in August about the project and if an extension granted by councillors earlier this year to resolve some issues - chiefly title and ownership matters - has been met.
ING was tight-lipped this week about the scheme that is meant to deliver 750 new homes, a renovated harbour, a new marina, hotels and shops.
In March ING told councillors the project was on hold due to the poor state of the residential market, who approved by a majority the extension, requested in the hope conditions improved.
