HOPETOUN House at Queensferry was the spectacular venue for a Highland Games event last Sunday.
Spectators to the games witnessed an array of events being staged on lawns around the stately home.
A strong line up of top athletes competed in the various strong-men events such as the shot putt, stone putt, weights for distance and height, caber toss and the Scots hammer.
There was also an abundance of Highland dancers on display to keep audiences entertained.
Members of the public also got the opportunity to try out clay pigeon shooting, fly casting and archery skills, while the Strathblane Country Estates Falconry Flying Team staged a fantastic birds of prey display and ferrets got in on the act too.
And for shoppers there were ample craft and trade stands to ensure that nobody went home empty-handed.
