HOUSING tenants’ views on service delivery now, and in the future, are being canvassed at a special conference next week.
The event’s being jointly hosted by Clackmannanshire and Falkirk Councils, Ochil View, Paragon, and Link Housing Associations and is open to all their tenants.
It’s at Municipal Buildings, Falkirk, on Tuesday, April 19 from 1.30-4.30pm, or again between 6-9pm.
Tenants can comment on the standards they expect to receive and members of tenants and residents associations are also welcome.
Views will help shape the forthcoming ‘Scottish Social Housing Charter’ being produced by the Scottish Governmnet.
This will set the benchmark for all social landlords and their services, nationwide.
The conference will be addressed by William Fleming, head of the Scottish Government Social Housing and Strategy Unit.
Places are limited and you must book in advance.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application form or call 01324 590780 to make a booking.
Refreshments will be available and transport can be arranged or travel expenses reimbursed.
A £25 shopping voucher will be included in a prize draw for participants.
There’ll also be an information ‘market’ for tenants featuring subjects like digital TV switch-over, consumer advice, fire safety and health.
