Food retailer Aldi is looking to recruit two members of staff for its Linlithgow store as part of the supermarket’s apprenticeship scheme.
Applications opened on Monday to coincide with the start of National Apprenticeship Week and are set to close on Friday, September 11.
Aldi store apprentices are trained in all aspects of retail management during the three-year course.
The scheme offers store assistant training in year one and store management training in years two and three.
Successful apprentices will be offered a deputy manager position upon completion of the course and can progress on to assistant store manager.
Aldi store apprentices will also achieve a Retail Apprenticeship Level three qualification.
By the end of the scheme, the most successful store apprentices will have the opportunity to progress to the position of assistant store manager with a starting salary of £24,500.
Ruth Doyle, regional managing director at Aldi, said: “Our apprenticeship scheme will deliver opportunities for committed and resourceful young people nationwide.
“Successful candidates will be joining one of the most dynamic and fast-growing retailers in the UK, with a proven track record in developing its staff.”
Applications for the scheme should be submitted via Aldi’s recruitment website at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk
